Wedding Cake, Cupcakes & Dessert Pricing

Our buttercream iced wedding cakes are comparable in price to serving cupcakes while dessert bars are higher in price.  See below for pricing information on cakes, cupcakes & desserts. Note we have a $400 product minimum for cupcake or dessert bar full service set ups.  Drop off deliveries available for less than $400 orders.

WEDDING CAKE PRICING

We price our cakes based on the size & design of the cake.  Assuming a full standard serving slice, a buttercream iced cake with standard decoration and delivery would average $5.50 to $7 per person.  A buttercream cake serving 100 would be around $600 including standard delivery & set up to Monterey.

CUPCAKE PRICING

Generally, we recommend 3 cupcake flavors and 1.25 cupcakes per guest.  Total cost will be $550 to $650 range for 100 guest wedding. 

  • $60 for 6" Buttercream Cake (for cupcake tower) or $95 for 8" cake (for table set up). 
  •  $406 for cupcakes with standard swirls/topping and no additional embellishments like white chocolate seashells or sugar flowers.  This price is 125 cupcakes divided evenly between 2 classic flavors and 1 specialty flavor.
  • $100 to $150 for delivery & set up.
  • Cupcake tower or settings (stands & platters for table set up) are not included

DESSERT TABLE PRICING

We normally suggest 2 to 4 pieces per person and starting with 1 selection from each of the 4 dessert types we offer:  cream puffs, tartlets, shooters & blondies/brownies.  For larger weddings, you would add 1 or 2 more flavors. 

The cost per "Set" (1 from each of the 4 dessert types above) is $9.  A typical dessert bar we do would include an 8" cake with 3 dessert pieces per person.  Total cost for 100 guests would be in the range of $750 to $800: 

  • $95 for 8" buttercream cake with standard decoration.
  • $540 for desserts.  The 8" cake will serve around 20, so we need desserts to serve 80.  Assuming 3 pieces per guest, we get 240 pieces which would be 60 "sets".  
  • $100 to $150 for delivery & set up. 
  • Settings (stands & platters) are not included.
